TAS Services - PlateSpin

PlateSpin PowerConvert

PowerConvert is the latest technology to move complete server workloads (OS, application & data) from anywhere to anywhere in the data centre. It provides 100% automated Operating System Portability™ and breaks the dependency between hardware and software. This flexibility allows the enterprise to manipulate and optimize their data centre to best supply the service level needs as required.

PowerRecon

Today, PowerConvert is the only tool on the market that will allow the enterprise to inter-convert between images, physical and virtual servers automatically. In addition, it is the only product that interfaces with existing live-state backup solutions to provide real time DR environments with zero impact to the origin server. Using PowerConvert, enterprises can, for the first time bring online DR environments in either virtual or physical infrastructure in extremely short timeframes and with minimal loss.

PowerConvert

Unlike other conversion products available today, PowerConvert is a truly remote solution -that greatly reduces the time taken to move in or out of the virtual environment.

As the premier PlateSpin service provider for Australia, TAS has the skill set and in-depth experience to help leverage your data centre to a highly automated and flexible environment.

back to topPower Recon

PowerRecon is a remote monitoring solution that is used to assess resource utilization levels prior to embarking on server consolidation projects. It collates data from Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 systems and analyses for capacity planning purposes. Utilization can be monitored in real time or as a historical chart so trends in usage can be seen and provisioned for. PowerRecon helps you decide which servers are appropriate for conversion to virtual infrastructure without having to perform extensive performance captures and analysis by hand.
